Attorney Bios

Miguel Law Offices provides clients with experienced, skilled legal services at reasonable prices. Unlike some other law firms, my practice is focused on the areas of family law, employment law, personal injury and business law.

Attorney Jennifer Smith Miguel

I have years of experience in the practice of law. Prior to opening Miguel Law Offices, I was a partner at Casey and Thompson, P.C., where I was employed for more than 10 years. By establishing Miguel Law Offices, I am a lawyer who brings a fresh, caring and client-centered approach to the practice of law.

I am regarded as an outstanding litigator and advocate for my clients. I also bring to the practice my own personal divorce experience. I, too, have gone through the steps of separation and divorce. I offer a unique understanding and empathy to my clients (which many other divorce attorneys cannot) and also the knowledge and experience as a practicing divorce attorney.

My law office's environment is different from most. I am genuinely interested in and invested in seeking justice for my clients. I offer competitive fees and rates. I am honest and devoted to my clients. They work directly with me and never with an associate or paralegal.

By concentrating my practice on family law, including divorce, custody, child support, alimony, domestic violence and employment law, I am able to stay current with the changes in the law. I also use my superior negotiation and advocacy skills. Clients and peers have commented on my ability to anticipate the needs of my clients. I have a proven track record of success and have earned the respect of judges, peers and clients alike.

I am the mother of two young children. Born and raised in Attleboro, I lived for a period of time in Fall River and New Hampshire. I am now proud to call Somerset my home town.
